I’m starting to drink Huel, and to avoid any side effects, I’m starting with a small shake once a day, with the view to increasing it over time to a maximum of 2 x 100-125g shakes.
At the moment, I’ve started with one 50g shake a day. I’m considering upping this by 10g about every four days, until I reach the target. Does this sound about right, or am I being too cautious? I’m keen to avoid any side effects, because I think that would probably put me off Huel for good.
I think you are being overcautious…and I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone incrementing in 10g amounts. Will it stop the unwarranted side effects? Dunno. Eating Huel alongside a probiotic may be good.
I did this: 50gr shake everyday for a week (the 125 gr made me too bloat in the first days), then I upped to 90-100gr. And now after a couple of months I feel that it’s not enough anymore and I’m going to 120gr.
Find your perfect size, being cautios in the first days is good, but then go.

As for probiotics, I’ll definitely start taking them. Do you have any particular recommendations?
