Hi. I am new to huel. Just drank my firt shake with 2 scoops and it is too much for me. My question is: did someone lost weight by drinking only 2 shakes a day with 1 scoop in?
Do you mean 2 shakes with 1 scoop, and nothing else? Because yes, you would lose weight. You’d lose loads and loads of weight really quickly. It’d be a crash diet, basically.
If you mean 2 shakes with 1 scoop, and some other meals, it depends what the other meals are. A 1 scoop shake is a tiny amount of food.
I mean shake in the morning with 1 scoop , healthy lunch and shake in the evening with 1 scoop. Between maybe fruit or small snack
That’s not much food at all. You’d make yourself ill.
If it’s alright with you, could you say how old you are and how much you weigh? Then we can figure out a safe way for you to lose weight.
My healthy meals mean chicken breast, strir fry vegetables. I have snack like a bars, fruits with 0%fat yougurt. Boiled eggs. I am nearly 44 and 91kg. I am doing exercise everyda for around 40 minutes . I am trying to follow weight watchers rules.
Weightwatchers have a points system, is that right? So can you put Huel into the Weightwatchers app and have it calculate how much you should have? I’ve never used it so I’m not sure how it works.
Yes they have pionts. I have 23 points a day and 1 shakewith 2 scoops is 10 points. That is why I want to do 2 shakes with1 scoop each so.I have a some points left for other food
Thank you so much for your answer
Your original post was a bit misleading then as it implied just 2 one scoop shakes.
People who want to lose wait and keep it off need to lose weight slowly, not as much as they can in a short time, as a few months later they are back to the size they were or worse.
I’ve not used weight watchers or any weightloss programme so not an expert, but a gradual loss over several months is the way to go and keep it off.
definitely - 2kg a month is a nice steady pace - I wouldn’t go any more than 4kg a month otherwise as Hunzas said you’re going to be in a constant battle to keep it off.
Thank you. I am not planning to lose more than 5kg a month with diet and exercise. I didnt mean to say I want to eat less calories a day, I will have more calories in my food than in shakes but I really struggle to drink 500mls
Another important thing, is not to get discouraged if you don’t lose much weight one week, or not as fast as you hoped. Successful dieting does require patience as well as willpower and commitment. Weigh yourself once a week and preferably at the same time of day, don’t get obsessed with it.
Yes that is what I am doing with weight watchers weighing myself weekly. I know that 1 week can be better than other, but I am following my routine
Sounds like you’ll be fine. You may be short on a few micro nutrients if you do this in the long term, so perhaps take multivitamin supplement too
Thank you. That is a good idea🙂
