Mint-Chocolate Preblend!

It is really more complicated. Whenever I travel I need to take two kinds of powder with me. Whenever I drink it, I need to open two bags. Whenever I’m ordering I have to check how much I have left from both kinds, because I use scoops and not a scale.

I did not ask for this before, but as we already have a product whit this sweetness level, there is probably a demand for it.

Is it not feasible for you to premix some at home before you travel?
I have five bags open at the moment as I like to have a choice of different flavours.

I premix two scoop portions with extra psyllium husks in small bottles for short term use, when I travel for a couple of days, I simply put the two versions in smaller bags. I could of course try to mix these, but I was always affraid that it’s hard to mix the pulver and I end up with portions that have a different mix.

I can live this way of course, but as we have the mint-chocolate preblend, maybe this is the future where they are going.

Just tried yesterday, the mint flavour was too strong for me… I couldnt end the bottle.

I think chocolate mint is too UKish

I had to do the same.

I love strong mint flavors, but in this pre-blend the mint flavor completely overpowers and almost nullifies the chocolate flavor, so i too added some cocoa to balance it better.

I do like the flavor even without modifying it because i love Mint, but i think the point of Mint+Choco is to…well… have both Mint and Choco.

I now prefer to use mint-choc flavour boost with vanilla whenever I feel like it.

I find that adding cacao to every version of Huel is the way to go.
It improves the mint-choc, the chocolate, the vanilla, I even add it to the flavour boosts as it makes everything more chocolatey and less sweet. Since starting Huel, I’ve got through more bags of cacao than I can count

Haha why does that not surprise me

I think Huel should just add cacao as a standard ingredient. It does after all contain loads of nutrients and tastes amazing. I think they need to just add it in there along with everything else
@JamesCollier @Tim_Huel I’m not even kidding, let’s make cacao a standard ingredient please :laughing::grimacing::yum:

We’re open to all ideas, we’ll discuss with the development team.

Tried my first one, and I’m struggling to finish it. It actually made me nauseous. It’s completely overpowering, smell and taste both.

I had the same feeling, though it wasn’t quite so intense, when I tried my first chocolate (my first try on any kind of Huel/other brands), but the feeling subsided after a few days, and I ended up actually liking it and having no trouble drinking it (and vanilla afterwards). This one however … it’s on another level. I’ll try another one at some point since I have an open bag, but I’m not looking forward to it. Maybe I’ll get used to it, but right now I’m legit feeling sick from the taste.

It’s just way too strong for me, and I’ve never had any particular dislike for minty tastes.

I tried chocolate-mint whey once. Felt sick drinking it. Probably won’t try this anytime soon.

Interesting to hear your feelings were similar with Chocolate and Mint-chocolate. Did you go straight for one choc and one mint choc or do you have a Vanilla too? What you could do to ensure the mint doesn’t go to waste is mix half and half with Vanilla and that will dilute the flavour.

@Modin as well as Tim’s suggestion of mixing it with vanilla, try adding some cacao powder which mellows the mint a bit. Also leaving it in the fridge for a few hours makes it less intense and much nicer.
