After all the drama and whingeing in this thread, I figured I just had to get some cinnamon swirl in my life.
Two bags of black edition cinnamon just arrived - I ordered late yesterday afternoon, so firstly a thank you as always for the fast delivery, Huel team
Opening the bag, the smell is very nice - very cinnamon-y, as youād expect - and not overpowering at all.
Iāve just made up a 400cal shake - 90ml powder, 410ml water, 15 seconds in the mini-blender and down the hatch.
Iām very impressed with the flavour; itās delicious with just the right amount of cinnamon and just the right amount of sweetness for me.
The extra couple of quid isnāt a bother for me at all; Iām happy to make this an occasional treat - perhaps once a week - in my rotation of vanilla, salted caramel, and banana.
As Phil says, weāre testing a new way to purchase Huel in Sweden. I donāt have an official update on if we will roll this out further, but I believe so far it has been a positive start.
YES love to hear this. Difficult balance between sweetness and flavour, so itās awesome you are loving it. Anyone else tried it yet?
But you are pricing lots of potential customers out at the moment with the 2 Bag minimum for Black Edition and 3 Bag minimum for Hot & Savory.
Really hope this is resolved soon for us in the UK. Especially as Steven Bartlett keeps banging on about it on his Podcast, which is what made me try it in the first place.
But I donāt want to have to spend and arm and a leg to get/try the exact Huel products I want.
Do you pay with arms and legs in the UK? In Sweden Huel accept both Visa and Mastercard as payment. Maybe they should implement that first in the UK so you donāt have to pay with body parts.
Yeah taxes in Sweden are pretty grim right? 30-35% local tax, 20% state tax, 25% VAT (moms?). Is it right that over 40% of Swedenās GDP went to taxes?
Yeah it was a big build for the team and is something weāve wanted to do well for ages, so really hope it works. If we are pricing lots of potential Hueligans out then the proof will be in the pudding (since weāre using lots of strange idioms here )
Iām quite the opposite, I generally by big. Iāll usually order 8-10 bags of powder as thatās the sweet spot for cost per bag.
Sure itās more of an outlay and Iām still going to order more so for a little extra payment now, I save quite a lot in the long run.
They used to be higher to be honest. For average salaries and below there are no state tax. For higher incomes there are. We also have a āemployment tax deductionā that makes the total salary tax closer to 25-30% for most people in reality.
VAT is 12% for food and 25% for most other things. Not sure if Huel counts as food.
Yeah ā itās the same here ā variable rates. For prepacked food it should be zero but itās different for supplements and raw ingredients. So it really depends on the customs officer mood and/or knowledge as to what they categorise it as on the day
I tried Cinnamon Swirl for breakfast this morning. Nice enough and enjoyed but canāt see me using it too often. I am reminded of Pumpkin Spice flavour boost which I used to mix with the old V2.3 original or vanilla. That too was used on an occasional basis, just for a change.
It slides into third place with first and second being Cookies & Cream and Salted Caramel, in that order.
Ah at least you will really enjoy those days where you change it up to Cinnamon! I love this order! I feel like we should all put out top 3 in our bios here and keep them updated like this is Bebo or something.
When itās about BE I love Cinnamon Swirl even better than the Strawberries & cream. I like that flavour too but itās a bit rich (kind of too ācreamyā), so not for everyday. In comparison I prefer the WE berries flavour. But I would order all 3 again.
