New v3.1 Bars are available!

I’ve been refusing to buy any bars since v1 because I won’t get 16 of something just to try a flavour. I might have mentioned it once or twice lol.

Anyway, the other day I got some more Black and I got a pop up offering me single bars to add to my order, finally!

Chocolate orange - Not going there. Terry’s has nailed it - anything that isn’t a terry’s chocolate orange would disappoint.

Salted caramel - By far the stand out, wow. Fudgy texture, great flavour - love love love this. I’d eat loads of these.

Coffee caramel - good, but not quite as good as SC.

Chocolate - reminds me too much of v1. Texture is much better but I’m just not there on the flavour.

So, two good and one not so much. I’d have a lot of SC, no chocolate and maybe a bit of CC. It’s nice that it only needed three bars to find out rather than 48. And I guess I’ll finally shut up about bar testers

I’m sure I saw on their instagram feed a bit back that singles are available at Sainsbury’s too now

They did, but I’ve not seen them in store yet. God knows where they are what with how Sainsbury’s “plan” their layout. I was very happy to see them on here.

Write us about them here when they arrive

Available in their app (Norwich)

I saw the email about the peanut butter bars. My apprehension is in case they taste like the PB FB, which to me tasted of almost nothing. Looking forward to a review from someone!

Here are my two cents on the v3.1 chocolate bars. They have a fudge/toffee taste with a soft, chewy texture making for a pleasant little snack. For comparison, the last bars I tried were v2.0, and those had a moreish cocoa taste with a densely packed texture. My only downside is the size, but it’s not that big of an issue (no pun intended :stuck_out_tongue: )

Have you seen the new Jimmy Joy Plenny bar Pizza flavour?

War is coming hahahah

I was sent one of these and from my point of view Huel has nothing to fear. I didn’t find it even the slightest bit appealing with regards to taste or texture. Didn’t taste like any pizza I’ve ever eaten. I would summarise as herby with a hint of tomato but not in a pleasant way. Could only manage just under half the bar. Just didn’t work for me. My luck with bars hasn’t been that great in the past though. Whenever I find one I love it gets discontinued!!

I love my vanilla Huel shakes and RTD but use Jimmy Joy for Vanilla Twenny bars as I like the taste but more importantly it’s 400 calories and really filling.

Sadly Twenny bars are being discontinued and I don’t really like the new Plenny bars. I am now looking for something new which is a shame. I was in the same position with Huel bars before that. I loved version 2.0 and was gutted when this was discontinued. I preferred the bigger size as well as the taste and texture. I don’t really like the new ones but most rave about them so guess they sell well.

Glad to know that the Hueligans are aware of the market news and products!

I would like to try them. Right now I will keep my Plenny bar caramel suscription. Having 400 kcal in a single bar is incredible for work or travelling it has saved my ass too many times.

Meh, I had to sell the Twenny bars, they were too sweet, horrible.
