Might HUEL black, because it is high protein, accelerate ageing?

Thanks for sharing Chris. As Phil has said other people have shared your concerns. However, the data is based on animals as we don’t have it in humans.

Additionally, protein is important for muscle and reducing fracture risk and so is important for health span (how much of your life that you live as a healthy individual) which is a key consideration.

There is some evidence that very high amounts (3.4g protein per KG of body weight) can lower testosterone. And there’s a lot of evidence that low amounts of protein lower testosterone.

Having high or low testosterone can have some of the effects of “aging”, depending on what you mean by “aging”.
