I don’t buy fizzy drinks either so that wasn’t why I thought of blood orange. Had a blood orange cheesecake recenlty, it was lovely and probably why that came to mind
Just something that’s not classically sweet … although now I’m thinking of mango
I like anything with lemon, lime (key lime
), orange, blood orange … so I’m biased towards tastes like that, not that I don’t like sweet occaasionally too though .l.
Callestick Farm based in Truro make an absolutely heavenly blood orange sorbet. During the tourist season there is a lady who owns a little shop just around the corner from me which sells it in individual tubs. I have a serious addiction to it!
There are various “opinions” on where RTDs are produced. I would really be interested in that information. If it really was produced in Germany or Austria I would change my opinion.
Curious. Why does that make a difference?
I mean I love Austria. I consider Wien to be my spiritual home, just wondering why you say that.
Our current manufacturer is based in Germany, while a previous manufacturer was based in Austria. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the information.
I asked because I live in Germany. And my concern was sustainability - transporting fluids all across Europe didn’t seem to be very friendly to the environment.
Ready to drink black salted caramel!
RTD bottles made out of algae or something else totally out there in terms of sustainability.
Does the UK RTD still come from the USA plant?
All RTD now comes from our manufacturer in Germany. RTD from this manufacturer has been in circulation in the UK since late April/early May.
Another vote for
or banoffee pie?!
Recently ordered vanilla RTD, found it to be very sweet so I have been adding two teaspoons of instant decaf coffee and it tastes like an iced coffee now. I would definitely buy a coffee flavour. Pretty sensitive to caffeine though so I can’t have even decaf post lunch…buzzing all night!
I know there’s already a Berry flavoured RTD (ordered to try with my next delivery), but a Strawberry & Banana flavour (or raspberry ripple?) would be interesting.
A certain dairy-free company makes small yoghurts in this flavour, and it is really nice.
Just a thought.
I think a Banana (and also Coffee) RTD are pretty high on many peoples wish list. Banana and Berry mixed do make a nice flavour - I would like to see them have some different variety though, so it doesn’t lean too heavily on the same flavours like what is happening with the Hot & Savoury range at the moment.
Raspberry - my all time favourite fruit.
Banoffee Pie - oh yes.
Banana - obviously.
Not sure how qualified I am, though, since I’ve yet to try an RTD.
Wish I’d known this. The main reason I stayed away from RTD was the use of container ships for US>UK shipping.
Anything but coffee!
I am very disappointed of your choice.
4 months late but hey ho! haha
Can’t go wrong with Cold Brew mouth waters
Other options I’d like to see:
- Dark Cocoa + Peanut Butter (together or as separate flavours)
- Chocolate Banana
- Coconut Blueberry (together or as separate flavours)
