Thanks Huel! No more sugar cravings :)

Hi there!

I just wanted to thanks Huel for making this amazing product.
I struggled with bulimia/overeating for the past 10 years, and for the 1st time I have NO MORE SUGAR CRAVINGS.
This is unbelievable for me! :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve been drinking huel (vanilla) for a month now, 5 times/week for lunch (3-4 scoops), sometimes for breakfast.
Otherwise I eat “normally”, no more dieting, even enjoying pizzas once or twice a week… And I lost 5 pounds! (I was unable to lose these pounds for some years, I was thin but with a “huge” belly fat, despite doing lot of sports).

I just feel amazing, I have a lot of energy, I sleep better… Thank you Huel!

Great! I feel the same. Before Huel I was always eating sweets especially after dinner, while binge-watching Netflix. Now with Huel I no longer crave for them.

Good luck with your Huel journey!

And the same for me. I’ve been on gluten-free Vanilla Huel for a week, replacing breakfast and lunch every day.

Sugar cravings massively reduced and snacking now almost zero. I work in an office where everyone brings in an abundance of biscuits, crisps, chocolate and sweets to graze on - so the temptation is right there in front of me.

I’ve also slowly reduced the sugar I add to my twice-daily coffees - from one and half heaped teaspoons to half a teaspoon. Hoping to get to unsweetened coffee in the next week or two.

The lack of desire to snack is the biggest plus for me, as well as the flattening belly.

And me I was a serious chocoholic and could quite easily put away a serious amount of chocolate in one go, now I hardly ever eat it, it’s great not to feel out of control with sweet binged

I had a similar problem with wanting cigarettes. In the end I managed to persuade myself to only have a cigarette when I drink. Backfired though I’m now on 20 pints of beer a day.

Resident joker strikes again!

I’ve been almost 100% Huel for the last few weeks and I’m craving solid foods (especially snacks like chips/fries and crisps/chips) more than ever. I haven’t lost any weight but I was vegan before for two years and I do absolutely no exercise. I’m sure that if I started exercising I’d lose weight very easily.

Are you aiming to lose weight?

If you were replying to me, I’m not trying to lose weight. I would like to, and i’ll join a gym soon™

Yes I was replying to me as you stated: “I haven’t lost any weight but I was vegan…!” The tone of that post intimated that you were annoyed at not losing the wight. But it was probably just a miserable vegan tone. They are miserable buggers aren’t they.

Oh yes. And they always have to make sure everyone knows they’re vegan. And they do that by looking skinny and protein deficient.

B12 deficiency makes them whiny.

And their superiority complex makes them shove their views down people’s throats.

Luckily they all live on dessert islands with no vegetation and only a pig for company, so we can ignore them…

I can’t tell if you’re both vegan and mocking the ridiculous arguments made by carnists or both really narrow minded

I’m both!!

You’ll soon get used to what passes for humour around these parts… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m carnist, if you are looking for a fight I’m here at your disposal whenever you want. :stuck_out_tongue:

(Just kiddin’, I’m not vegan but I respect every lifestyle  )

Now, where’s the steak in my Huel I was promised?

Both vegan. And with vegan sense of humour. I don’t considerby myself narrow minded, but does anyone? Hunzas is the Huel court jester.
