Can Huel staff provide any time frame for when you expect to be shipping v2.1? Are we looking this month, next or beyond?

As of a tweet I got from them last week, there is no ETA.
I think they should at least provide which month they are working towards.

I agree. That ay people can plan their consumption or seek alternatives while waiting for the reduced salt/removal of fluoride version. I truly hope it is not too long, I really want to use Huel when I do The Wall next June so I don’t need to worry about food along the way.

Just set your own deadline. I’m forgetting about Huel until January 2017, for example. I’ve found it to be much less stressful to just take a break from all this fuss.

Start your own food-tech company, if you want and if you are such eager.
There are people who like v2.0 as it is now, so if you don’t like the product, buy anything else and let us enjoy it. But don’t insist as if you were the boss.
So those who enjoy huel, but can not consume it for medical reasons due to the high salt content should just shut up and deal with it and go without instead of asking simple questions so they have all the facts they need before making the decision whether to wait for Huel 2.1 or go to a competitor?
Also, no one is insisting here, we just want to know what the time frame for 2.1 is so we can plan accordingly with what we have left of 1.2 and/or start looking at alternatives. It’s really not too much to ask. If they made an announcement along the lines of “we are aiming for 2.1 to be ready by Q2 2017” then those of us waiting would have the info we needed and then wander off and get on with it.

My (complete guess) is that we’ll see V2.1 once current stocks (and any deals made in regards to quantities from suppliers) of V2.0 have been used. Sure, they can calculate a likely date when that will be, but by providing a date it may influence more people to hold out pushing it even later (and invalidating the date).

James Collier has already said they have changed the formula in response to user feedback, I am simply asking for an ETA for the reasons very well explained by Kizeree.

If a company cocks up (which I think this is really) then keeping people informed is really the least they should be doing. From the history of Huel this is the first time they’ve taken a wrong step and so deserve some credit and patience but the silence will only continue to upset people. They need to inform people to prevent damage to the business and product reputation - it may already be too late (and I just recieved another four bags 
)

Yes! About to place another order and would rather have v2.1. Would be grateful for any update on the status. Loving the product by the way!
