Yes, it’s 365 pages too thick.
What’s fenugreek and where do I buy that please?
its a spice mainly used in Indian and middle eastern cooking - primarily as a flavour enhancer - you should be able to find it in any spice section of a supermarket. As Matt said - it must only be used in small amounts and not good if you have nut allergies. It’s very bitter in its raw state but sweetens when its cooked and combined with other spices.
Has anyone of you experiences with adding:
- Xanthane Gum
- Glucomannan/Konjak powder
- inuline
or psyllium?
if I want a really thick shake I normally just add 3 or 4 pieces of dried fruit like fig or apricots into the blender - that makes it very thick and smooth.
A colleague of mine ordered 1kg of inulin long time ago and was adding it to Huel back when Huel used to be much thinner. It did make Huel thicker, and it also gave him a lot of gas. I’ve also heard good stuff about inulin in general.
Psyllium might bulk up Huel, but it might also interfere with nutrient absorption.
