All In

Vanilla new and improved is what I’m going to go for. I’ve never tried it but the UU does not appeal to me at all…

It’s my first Berry RTD for breakfast tomorrow!

Try mixing some up and leave in the fridge over night, it’s much nicer

Could you point out the differences between New and Improved/Original ?
Really love the original, but haven’t tried the N&I yet.

I’m having the berry powder for my tea at 6pm. Would you still recommend making it the night before?

Make it in the morning if you can and store it in the fridge?

like DunsfordMage said, you may as well do it in the morning and fridge it if your having it at 6PM

Making all my shakes for the next day the evening before

I used to love original vanilla back when it was the only vanilla. I tried the new and improved and wasn’t convinced at first… on my next order I got one bag of each and somehow just couldn’t go back to original vanilla…! In my humble opinion I think the flavour is not as good, the oatiness comes through a lot more while somehow still being very sweet. The new one has a taste that is more like vanilla ice cream, sweet but in an obvious, unapologetic way, and maybe it’s just me but I think new and improved is smoother and less gritty (that could just be in my head)

I too prefer new vanilla to original. Original far too sweet for my liking so have to mix 50/50 with UU to make it palatable for me. The original/UU mix goes well with certain flavour boosts. No overriding toffeeness as there can be with vanilla. Having said that, I love vanilla just as it is and a spoonful of caramel, instant coffee or mocha flavour makes it even more yummy :yum:

So I had powder berry for my breakfast! So much better than the mint chocolate. I reckon I just don’t like the overpowering mint flavour of the Chocolate Mint Powder (I would not purchase the chocolate mint powder again!)

Yeah, the minty flavour is very overpowering. As has been said a teaspoon or so of Cacao powder does the trick (or a few chocolate chips). Its not my favourite either.

It all depends on individual taste. You generally need less boost with vanilla as already sweetened. As @bee says she mixes vanilla and unflavoured 50/50 which is what I do, and generally I add flavour boost to this. I don’t have a massively sweet tooth but do find unflavoured on its own a bit too much.

So today’s been a berry day. I’ve had the powder berry and the RTD berry. Both great and enjoyed them. Cant wait till pay day tonight to get vanilla powder and the banana flavour and rubard and custard flavour.

I’m hoping they have a really synthetic taste!

Also does anyone know. If I subscribe and then need something earlier can I ask for it earlier?

Enjoy! Yes you can change your delivery date anytime, plus edit flavours or add something to it.

Day 3

I know it’s a start but… I’ve had lots of drink too but already lost weight… (I was wearing more clothes and it’s later on in the day when I weighed second time!) :balance_scale:

Who knows I don’t expect with diets to maintain loosing lots but fingers crossed…

:strawberry:I really enjoy the vanilla and berry flavours now!

:full_moon:I feel full most the day.

:herb:I’m happy I’m vegan.

:wind_face:I have not experienced flatulence so that’s good ha…

So yeah loving it so far…

Great stuff! :grinning: Good idea to only weigh first thing in the morning, without any clothes and after you have been to the loo.

Ha yes. If I did that I’d probably of lost closer to a stone!

My only critism is the price of the RTD. Yes it’s cheaper than a packet of crisps and a sandwich. I still would prefer it to be 31 in a pack at same price as 24! So one for each day…

I suppose I might move just on to Huel Powder at some point, but I have been enjoying the RTD

I am sticking with powder, granola and bars. I am happy with them, though I would like to try the odd bottle of RTD, just to see what it’s like. Apparently we will be able to add a couple of bottles to our order further down the line.

Hi Fruityseb, I am in a similar situation, am a new user to Huel and have been using since Sunday and like you, hoping to lose weight / reduce fat.

I had two boxes of RTD - one each of vanilla and berry. Seemed the easiest way into it and from my first couple of bottles went ahead and ordered pouches (new vanilla) that arrived today - also ordered a nutri ninja that came today to blend and had my first powder drink for me tea.

As I work away from home three days a week my plan is to use RTD for Breakfast and Lunch, have a normal (low calorie dinner) while away and then use the powder for 2 or sometimes all meals in a day.

My first powder drink was 3 scoops vanilla in 400ml water, blended in the ninja, added a banana and a handful of asda frozen berry medley and gave it another whoosh. Fridged it for a couple of hours. Was pleasantly surprised!

Gonna try coffee granules in the morning, may make up tonight and refrigerate.

I see a lot of posts on here from people trying to lose weight using Huel and see updates over a month or so but then stops with no final update - wonder if they have given up or lost as much as they intended and not bothered coming back?

You mention about lowering risk of heart attack, my motivation is one of my colleauges had one over Christmas and had to have a stent fitted - he is far fitter than me and only a few years older than me - quite a shock!

Good luck

Yes my ultimate goal is to be healthy and loose weight.

I am hoping to keep a record on here on if it works out for me as I know that’ll be useful for future people wanting to know more.

I also currently have no back problems but I’m desperately wanting to avoid that with the added risk of extra weight.

Good luck to yourself!
