Error logging in to the forum with Twitter

So when I try to log into Huel using my linked twitter account I get the following error message:

Oops

The software powering this discussion forum encountered an unexpected problem. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Detailed information about the error was logged, and an automatic notification generated. We’ll take a look at it.

No further action is necessary. However, if the error condition persists, you can provide additional detail, including steps to reproduce the error, by posting a discussion topic in the site’s feedback category.

This is in Chrome (standard and incognito) and safari. I’m using a Macbook. It’s been a problem for a coupel of months now.

Any idea why?

The forum is run on the Discourse platform. I’ve encountered loads of problems with it from my Apple devices… seems to work fine for android users.
Can’t comment specifically on your issue though as I’ve never tried logging in via my twitter account…

The rest of the hu(e)ligans on here will tell you to do a factory reset or stop using apple. Ignore them

On my phone the discourse app causes freezes, but that’s all the inconvenience I experience.

And @ChristinaT, those who say to stop using apple are the wise sages of the new world  1+ phones :grin:

What @ChristinaT is failing to tell you is her Apple phone is so old it’s almost got an aerial poking out the top. Factory resetting it would be like polishing a t…

It’s only 2 years old!!! That’s practically brand new. Okay, there have been 9 new iPhones since… but I refuse to pay £1200 for a phone. Mine was £70 brand new and boxed, has huge memory capacity, not bad battery life, does everything I need it to do other than work on the Discourse forum (!!), holds my entire music collection, streams movies instantly and seemlessly, and isn’t so thin you’re scared it’ll bend in your back pocket.
I love my phone.
Plus I get to stay on my ancient t-mobile contract that gives me truly unlimited data (no fair usage policy), plus unlimited minutes, and texts for £7.50 a month. It only gives me 3G but 3G is way faster than 4G in my area cos I’m literally the only person using the mast :joy:

So there @Coup :stuck_out_tongue:

My second phone does actually have an aerial sticking out the top… I bought it in 2002. It’s still going strong. Has some really cool polyphonic ring tones too

Nothing to do with your phone, the forum isn’t set up to be connected with social profiles. You just need to sign up by creating an account. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Pfft! What you should really be sorry for is the most boring reply on the forum EVER. Hang your head in shame.
