Has anyone tried the essential and the regular chocolate powder? I really like the taste of the white chocolate powder but would like to try essential. How do they compare tastewise?
Plenty of similar discussions on this if you have a search though, and – unsurprisingly with taste – almost zero consensus. So, chalk that up to another one of those each to their own things – if you like it you like and if you don’t, chuck in a scoop of your favourite flavoured drinking chocolate powder.

It’s true, there’s no accounting for taste. But I love choc Essential more than the chocolate flavour of the other powders. It’s quite a mild flavour but has an oaty biscuitiness which I really like. Mixes well with other flavours too. I had a couple of months of mixing it 50:50 with each of the flavours of Black and it was all very good.
