I am trying to combine it with a Slimming World style diet to lose weight. I have Huel for breakfast (2 shakes with water and a splash of skimmed milk, whisked with a hand whisk till it becomes a yummy shake) then for dinner I have a regular but healthy meal and then Huel later when hungry. I am sticking to two scoops at a time to ease into Huel.
I’ve noticed some bloating and bowel issues but nothing like I used to have when I was eating nothing but take-out and drinking heavily.
Will keep you all updated on my progress and any milestones with weight-loss.
Welcome to the team, Georgina! It’s so awesome to have you on the team. If you’re using Huel for weight loss then there are so many others doing the same here – I’ve no doubt they’d love to help should you need it.
In the meantime, we have a cracking guide here that is helpful for using Huel for weight loss. Make sure you consume fewer calories than you expend but not so many that it isn’t sustainable. We recommend around 500kcal deficit!
