Huel bar! (more words for no reason)

@Marcus yes the plan is to be live before the Christmas 2016.

@Tristan thank you for the offer. We do have a beta testing team. message @TimOfficeHuel about being in the group for future trials.

@VAS great question, not sure, we will try.

Most importantly, will there be a chocolate flavour?

Initially we’ll be launching the bar in one flavour - chocolate. Others will follow.

I’ll have more info about an exact launch date next week. When I know what date they will be landing in our warehouse, then I’ll make sure more info is released.

Wish it wasn’t chocolate since I try to avoid caffeine. Do you know the specifics of sugar/maltodextrin content per 2,000kcal now?

I’ll release more details nearer the time. The caffeine amount will be minute though.

My wish is for an unflavored & unsweetened version of Huel bar. Just pure nutrition.

Chocolate flavour seems cool.

Thank you for being transparent and telling us as much as you can. This really makes a difference by allowing us to feel involved. It also means I can relax and just wait till next week, rather than checking every post.

Can’t wait

I’ve just restocked on twennybars. Absolutely love their chocolate version so I’m looking forward to seeing what you do

I just can’t imagine that tasting of anything but cardboard.

I love the taste of cardboard. Tastes like I am eating something real as opposed to something that has had to have its nutritional value compromised by having to taste good.

On a serious note, I realize that this dream of mine will likely remain just a dream. Too few people put nutrition completely ahead of taste.

Just to be clear the bar is flavoured with natural cocoa powder and cocoa fibre. It’s vegan and doesn’t have a strong chocolate flavour.

Are all the bars going to have cocoa in them? What flavour is it officially then? What flavours do you plan on releasing eventually?

Can’t find the post now, but one of the Huel team said chocolate would be first, with other flavours to follow.

It was this post

Awesome  I love the chocolate flavoured Twenny bars, but don’t like eating them too often because they’re a bit crap on nutrition and too many make my stomach churn a bit (presumably due to them containing lactose). I’m looking forward to being able to upgrade to chocolate Huel bars soon

Egads, that sounds terrible.

We are not sure of the flavours we will launch in the future. It’s been hard enough getting a single flavour launched.

I think the chocolate version is definitely a great starting point. Can’t wait to try it.

Christmas pudding! Bit late for 2016, but deffo worth looking at next year

I have about 2 weeks supply left so I’m hoping that ā€˜available before Christmas’ means fulfillable and deliverable before Christmas!

Personnaly, I don’t expect bars to be as safe as powders in terms of nutritionals. It’s almost impossible.
See, Tweeny Bars or WundrBar contains 20% of glycerol! Yes, 20%, that is huge, for a laxative… Cut the bar into 5 equal pieces, and imagine one of them is pure glycerin…
I hope Huel will do better, but I’m pretty sure that haters and trollers will have a lot of work again.

@Raymondcal is right, powder will already be superior in terms of ingredients and nutritional.
