Wow wow wow, is that the surprise we are all waiting for?
I hope they do 500kcal per bar, not 400. And that it isnāt more expensive per kcal than powder.
Iād like a bar the size of my shake to make sure Iām full
Looks like that guy was just showing off his design skills. That post was from December.
Nice find @Raymondcal ! Iām really very excited about this. I hope they get approval from whoever approves these things soon.Just really hoping it doesnāt taste foul. If the macro split is similar to the powder, I think it will be a bit over 500 kcal for 120g, if my maths is right.
Of course it would be more expensive than the powder. It will require more processing and packaging than the powder, further, it will have more bulk per kcal so have more expensive shipping.
However, it is probably more convenient in some situations, so thatās the trade-off.
@Marcus one of the Huel guys commented a while back that it was taking forever to get the new product approved by whatever authority does such things. As the new pouches are only just appearing, it looks like thereās a long lead time on getting these things into production. So Iām still crossing my fingers that that was a proper design and the bars will be soon
I donāt think so.
See, Salih KüçükaÄa made the first pounches design in Sept. 2014, and they came to market only on June 2015. Same thing for the bars, I guess. Remember, Julian announced āa method of using Huel that is quicker, more convenient and doesnāt require waterā in end February.
That guy is not working just for showing design skills: itās his job, Huel is his client, and he surely doesnāt design for free!
I need this in my life. the bar may also be exactly what I need to get my wife and kids into Huel. It really worries me that they eat stuff I just wouldnāt consider putting into myself.
I had a dream last night about Huel barsā¦
I need this in my life
Hope its U/U =]
I would love a Huel bar, but to say the food industry is frustrating is an understatement.
Keep at it Julian. We need this . Looks like Joylent may be having the same issues, they announced it back in August. But they use soya crap like most of the others, so Iām team Huel all the way.
Any estimates? Even most vague ones?
This year, very vague I know, but the food industry is extremely unreliable.
