Huel Bars - Good or Bad

Oh yeah I understood they weren’t for you  I was just being curious and totally fair enough dude!! haha

I have a box of chocolate orange. I’ll eat them in between meals if I’m famished, but I don’t like them much. They are tough and the texture isn’t great. The taste is kind of chalky. I won’t buy them again, but they aren’t disgusting. Just not my thing.

I’m not a fan of the bars. I find they steal all the moisture from my mouth and I have to chug them down with a drink :woman_facepalming:t2:

The flavours are ok, just the texture I don’t get along with.

you can try giving them 20-30seconds in a microwave - they became soft/cake like in texture.

Yeah cheers I was interested to read that on here. I’ve two left so I will definitely see if it makes them easier to get down! :+1:t2:

They’re definitely something that you need to get used to. I didn’t like them at first but they grew on me as I got used to the taste and texture.

if you don’t want them heated but want a little more moisture you can also add a little spread on them such as cream cheese, chocolate, fruit jam, maple syrup, honey etc - plant based or not - up to you.

Now there’s an idea.

Genuinely can’t wait for this Christmas because I know you’re 100% going to do this.

If Phil doesn’t I will.

I’ll join you both. Surely Chocolate Orange is best for this?

probably - I think I’d have to sub out the whiskey for brandy or Grand Marnier in that case

Just had my first Chocolate Orange and I wasn’t a fan. I’ll stick to Coffee!

I love the huel bars, I have one for breakfast everyday, never thought of microwaving one to turn it into a cake though, I might have to try that!

Please let us have a Christmas cake edition!!!
