Those of us trying to lose weight probably wouldn’t want to do the honey bit because of the carbs/calories, delicious as it may be… I find a spoonful of instant coffee (or one of those sachets you get in motels) works better than brewed coffee in Huel, and I’m not sure why.
I’m personally cutting to get more definition, I calculate all my macros and 3 teaspoons is fine (personally speaking based on my current eating plan, you’re right too much honey or any honey can be bad depending on what else you’re eating through out the day). I haven’t tried the sachets with it as I’m fussy with coffee, but I shall give them a go! Thanks for the suggestion!
I thought it must be at least 3 scoops with that. Amount of water is down to personal preference really. I tend to use 450ml part water/part almond milk to 76g (approx 2 scoops) Huel. I prefer to add a teaspoonful of good instant coffee, rather than brewed coffee, as it gives a richer taste
I have been on 3 scoops twice a day for my current plan!, I may eventually change it about but for now it works fine. I have been meaning to try huel with almond milk for a while now but keep forgetting, does it give it a sweeter taste?. I shall definitely try adding some instant coffee to see if I prefer it! Thanks for the suggestions!
I have 2 scoops to 700 ml water. Or 600 ml water, 100 ml Unsweetened Alpro Almond milk which works some kind of magic in thickening up the shake, even that small amount…
Totally agree… It is like magic! I tried it after seeing so many on the forum using it. I like it but personally I prefer Alpro Coconut milk. I use 250ml of that + 200-250ml water, and 2.25-2.5 scoops Huel.
I’ll try honey but with instant coffee I think, thanks for the tip @Frankie!
