So in this age of everybody feeling the financial pinch, and because one of Huel’s marketing strands is that it is a good-value complete meal, when I noticed this email in my inbox this morning:
… it crossed my mind that some users might prefer - instead of receiving a “free” tshirt and/or shaker (or other freebie) - to select instead to forgo the freebies and instead get an additional £x discount on their purchase.
I appreciate there’s a purpose to these freebies - the Huel-branded accessories promote the brand and foster a sense of inclusiveness etc and so on - but the option to get an additional discount could be marketed as another benefit of choosing Huel.
