Purely anecdotally at this point (because I have no qualifications to back it up yet) but my understanding is that protein absorption and processing is massively differing based on the type of protein you are absorbing.
So for example, it’s far better to take in say 4 sets of 20g of protein separated by 2 hours than it would be to try to take in 80g of protein in a single meal as a lot of it would end up in the loo, but that changes hugely based on the types of protein you’re taking.
Personally I’m using Huel Black 4 times a day with additional protein and aminos and vitamins. Probably have the most expensive wee in the western world.
I believe the magic numbers are between 1.5 and 3.5 hours in terms of how much protein you can usefully metabolise. Depends on your build of course.
Sorry per meal. Matt is right spacing out your meals every few hours is optimal if you need to get a lot of protein from your diet. The majority of people don’t need to worry about this though.
My latest bag of BE Coffee Caramel is not as nice as my first ones. It tastes more like U & U with instant coffee added. No caramel flavour at all. I don’t know the batch number of my first two bags but the one I’ve just opened is 21491C
Hi I’m still working my way through my BE Coffee caramel which would probably have been your last code Bee. I am not a fan of any BE that i have tried so far but I am slowly working my way through them mixing them with either ordinary u&u or v3s. That must be a disappointment to you after enjoying your previous bags.
Thanks for providing the batch info! We have definitely noticed a few complaints regarding this batch so we have decided to stop sending it while we investigate.
Please could you drop us an email at team@huel.com with your order number and a picture of the batch info so that we can pass onto the Quality Team and arrange a replacement for you as soon as possible, we are so sorry about this.
