Thanks @David and @Phil_C for your replies. Had already looked at the nutritional profiles. Just having the chocolate sachet boost with vanilla v3 and cant say I really taste any chocolate. I will just continue with my caco powder. As this is my 1st sample with the flavours boosts it’s just trial and error to see what your taste buds like. :blush:

the chocolate FB is basically sweetened cocoa powder - you definitely get that when you open the packet and smell it.

Hi Phil, yes I agree. I did smell the cocoa when I opened the sachet. Perhaps the 3g sachet was just not enough for me and I would need to add more. I also think that v3 banana powder smells strongly of bananas in the bag but I dont taste it when i am drinking it. However, I dont find it unpleasant and still enjoy it. :blush:

yes I’m the same - most flavour boosts I use 5-6mg at least to get a good stronger taste - but thats just my preference.

Same for me. The small sachets only give a hint of the flavour.

@Phil_C @Bee, hi, thats probably how I found the chocolate sachet boost to mild. When I add my own flavourings I usually add a good heaped teaspoonful so like you I must prefer stronger tastes. :blush:

I’ve never really enjoyed any of the flavour boosts I have bought to change the flavour even though they are flavours I know I enjoy so I’ve never really bothered experimenting further. I tried gingerbread and bakewell/chocolate and cherry (something like that anyway, unless I’ve completely made that up?!)
What I have had success with recently is adding the same flavours to enhance the flavour. I enjoy White vanilla and mint chocolate as they are but Black vanilla and chocolate I found the taste doesn’t really register. I don’t dislike the taste but it’s just a bit none existent. I think my taste for sweet things must be duller than most peoples as I know people say White in particular is too sweet. So I basically add vanilla, mint chocolate or chocolate flavour boosts (or a combination) to Black to make it taste more like White as I have a couple of bags to use and I prefer the macros at various times. Also tried adding mint chocolate flavour boost to White mint chocolate today and I like it! I know that will blow some people’s minds as they find it far too sweet anyway but as we all know our tastes vary so greatly.
I have banana flavour boost to try also which I hope will hit the spot. Will probably try a big old spoonful in Black Vanilla to start.

Yup same here, aside from salted caramel which is just too sweet for that much IMO.

I’m almost done with my sample pack of flavour boosts and I have found that 3g isn’t enough to get most of the flavours through for me. I guess everyone is different though!
