Not that this stage no, UU isn’t that popular compared to our other flavours and it requires more work to formulate than the flavoured products because it kind of sits on its own.
Once an order goes over 15kg it’s unsafe for someone to carry and has to be split into two, at which point there’s additional costs. 6 bags is 135 meals so hopefully that’s enough to keep you going between your orders!
If you make the U/U I would totally purchase it. Or if you use a better sweetener or just plain sugar.
Great product, I think its going to be a success!

It seems incongruous that we can order up to 272 meals of V3.0 in one order/delivery, and yet only up to 135 meals of Essentiial. I don’t understand the difference.
I really prefer a delivery every eight weeks, if that can be arranged for the same amount of the new product as the old.

regardless of the shop platform logistics here - as there are no additional volume discounts - you could just put in multiple orders of the essentials 6 bags.
@Dan_Huel is this going to be sold in the EU store as well?

I’m concerned with less hassle ordering, less impact from transport, and reduced costs to Huel.
In the past I’ve ordered 13 bags of V3.0 (22.1 kg, 221 meals), and it was no problem (one order, two boxes, one delivery).
Now I want to order 10 bags of Essential (22.5 kg, 220 meals), and it’s not possible.
Just curious as to the reason. 
unless the orders for some reason get split then they aren’t really issues as is putting in a duplicate order.
you mean having more than one subscription? seems a bit bonkers. am I missing something here?
As explained above @epicure splitting the order adds additional costs. The whole point of Essential is keeping the price as low as possible so ordering more than 6 bags does not fit with this goal.

Sorry to make a big deal of this, but you’re saying it’s cheaper for Huel to deliver to me twice as often as I want? If so, ok, but it still seems counter-intuitive.
Anyway, I think the new product sounds great, tho’ I may be buying less than I’d like, in order to avoid having more frequent deliveries than I want.

I’ve been planning to bulk up my Huel drinks as 400 cal still leaves me hungry. I could have 600 cal of essential and still have it cost about the same as 400 cal of BE

However, as there is nothing preventing somebody (unless there is?) from placing two separate but identical orders for six bags each, wouldn’t the overall cost to Huel be more than one 12 bag order split across two boxes?
I’ve only just seen this warning, and I can see why it’s scary to GF people. It’s also only on the essential powder and not the v3.0 powder, but are they not the same oats?
I’ve just ordered 6, although I’d have preferred to order 10.
I guess I’ll just have to go hungry.

Sure, tho’ I may not be the first. My 8 week subscription isn’t due for another couple of weeks.
By the way, I accidentally found a possible loophole in the minimum order requirement. I was editing my old subscription, did the “add a product” thing and added one bag of Essential. Then I decided to cancel the sub and make a new one for Essential.
But I just got an email saying my subscription is to be processed and shipped soon. And the transaction is for one bag of Essential@£25, free shipping, and nothing else. Dunno if it would have gone through, but I’ve cancelled it. I’m not paying an extra £2.50 for an experiment!
Excellent work David. Now we need to know whether you can fiddle the subs system into an order of 12 bags

I’m pretty sure the system has always been that if you have two subscriptions, and they are set to recur on the same day (or you change the dates so they both trigger on the same day) they become a single transaction and are delivered together. But they remain two subs so you can split them again if you want.
But I’m not going to test that today. Or ever, because the main benefit of large orders, the discount, doesn’t exist for Essential. I don’t live in a castle and I’ve never liked storing loads of Huel bags. I’ve got them in the bottom of my wardrobe with my suitcase and funeral shoes.
