Referral Discount Issue

I am having issues utilising the referral code with my wife. I have tried using WhatsApp and getting her to type it in at check out.

Both times she got the “sorry, there’s a delay processing your reward, your request is currently being reviewed”. In my account it shows 2x referrals sent and 2x linked clicked. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this?

I have read some articles that say there can be issues referring across regions. We live together so I know this should not be the issue in this case. Any tips?
