I recently started using Huel to help with weight loss and it has been going well so far
I usually take one shake for breakfast and one for lunch then eat a normal dinner
It makes it much easier to stay in a calorie deficit and I do not feel hungry all the time
I want to know how others are using Huel for weight loss
Do you replace all meals or just some
Did you face any problems like bloating or digestion at the start
Any tips to stay motivated would be really helpful
What you are doing is a perfectly reasonable approach. Providing you have calculated the calories you need and ensure you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. Personally on the few occasions I have wanted to lose weight I have actually used Huel for 100% of my calories using powdered shakes. I find they are so filling that I can’t eat more than about 1500 calories a day anyway so it works for me. On a daily basis when I use Huel to maintain weight I have Huel for breakfast and lunch and then a regular meal and occasional snacks.
There can be some digestive issues at the beginning of you go in too hard with Huel especially if you aren’t a vegan when your body may have adapted somewhat, and it’s mainly gas related. That should subside in time.
