@Bee have you tried two spoonfuls of Branston pickle in your Huel ? Try it tomorrow if not and let me know what it’s like.
Blergh no, thanks very much all the same
I have been putting a dash of the flavored coffee creamers. There are so many varieties that it makes it fun trying them all. I also use coffee as my base instead of water which I really enjoy.
I like the Creamy Caramel Beanie with Vanilla Huel. Similar to Huel Caramel flavour boost which I love.
I have just started replacing my breakfast with Huel Vanilla (two scoops) on Monday and this is what I have tried so far:
1 teaspoon of cocoa - quite enjoyable!
1 banana + milk - did not notice much difference with regards to the consistency of the shake mixed with milk rather than water so gonna stick with water for the future, also the banana made it too sweet for me
1 espresso - my favourite, next time I’ll try a double espresso as could have used more coffee.
Things I want to try next week:
experimenting with spices
Huel flavour boosts
adding more coffee
Looking forward to stealing some of your ideas as well
Cinnamon works well with coffee
My favourite right now is using Innocent’s hazelnut ‘milk’ 1:1 with water (so 200ml water, 200ml hazelnut milk, 2 scoops Huel).
I find it quite a strong flavour compared to oat/soy/almond milk - and delicious.
I’m a big fan of savoury flavours. My new favourite is to add Mara Furitake flakes (seaweed with chilli and sesame), together with miso and peanut butter.
Acai berry powder - very nice and very different. Not the cheapest of things but a teaspoon goes a long way.
That reminds me, I am sure @coup was gonna send me some acai berry powder a while ago. Can’t think what happened there.
PM me and I’ll send you a sample (Acai - coz I know how your mind works).
I am just too predictable.
It’s on my list…
I added a tablespoon to some vanilla today and it was very nice. I think 1 tbsp to 1 scoop was a bit much but it’s all experimentation and different amounts suits different people. I’ll be using it again though.
I tried that ashwagandha stuff for 6 months and felt no difference so stopped taking them
I wasn’t bothered about the ashwagandha to be honest but I liked the idea of some spices and I’m too lazy to mix my own!!
I would use the love juice of @hunzas but I’m a vegan.
Very much enjoying the zero-calorie, zero shots from TRKG at the minute. If you hurry on to their site, they’re having a sale of the older shape bottles and there are bargains to be had. Every one I’ve tried has been a winner - just watch out when squirting into your shake, it’s a jet stream of force. I’m removing the top and using a teaspoon to decant (about half a spoonful). Really tasty with coffee Huel.
Good shout, thx. Will have a look.
