100 percent Huel off we go

Hello everyone, I am Jayne (with a Y)…and no I’m not talking chromosomes.

I’m a long term vegan, and Ive been using Huel a fair bit for several months - twice a day and am now deciding to use it 100% for food, although will drink things like tea, coffee, fruit juice and energy drinks, rather than just water as this fits in with my lifestyle: single, active woman, no spring chicken, vegan and motivated.

Only joined the forum this morning, and initially found out about Huel from a Facebook ad in the Spring.

Why I’m Doing This:

  • Maintain Weight and muscle
  • Get nutritionally balanced meals
  • Huel tastes great - I use new vanilla most of the time
  • To see if I can

Statistics:
Age: mid-thirties (give or take), you never ask a lady their age my gran always said - she was 45 years old all the time I knew her (nearly 30 years).
Height: 172cm
Weight: 60kg on the dot.

Activity level: Quite active - kettles, circuit training, teach Zumba in evening, jogging and swimming several times a week.

Plan:

From now on I’ll eat Huel four times a day at 125g per meal and 500ml water

I’ve just been doing Huel 100% for a few weeks. I keep meaning to write about it, but a bit lazy. It was a good experience, and very interesting.

so you’re a mid 30 year old single, active vegan woman with a sense of humour and a Hueler?

Haha. Yes some of those things. I’m hoping Huelers do have a sense of humour, there does appear to be a lot of banter.

Oh and to answer your question Eric @Squizzle - until Christmas for now…there may be some temptations of course.

Mince pie flavoured Huel :yum:

I think that was a thing last year…but before my time in Huel. Is there anything planned for this year do we know?

Gingerbread or cinnamon buns please…

Best of luck Jayne with a Y! I’m working up to 100% Hueling too, just getting through the last of my fruit and veg. Keep us updated

Welcome aboard. I’m a new to Huel myself. A week today. My reason for using Huel is to make sure I am getting a proper diet, I am not a vegetarian or vegan( much respect to those that are), who knows as time goes by I may end up vegetarian. I enjoy the forum and I enjoy the shake.
