Daily Greens has landed in the UK šŸ’š

That’s to make it more attractive to the Russian market

Anyone tried mixing Daily Greens with a Huel shake? My order arrives in a week or so and thought I might try this as a way to mask the ā€œearthyā€ taste.

it’s really not that earthy at all - I would imagine if you didn’t want to mix it with regular Huel, chucking it in a blender with a few pieces of fruit would push it over the line to taste more fruity than earthy.

That being send - I have pondered the lazy solution of mixing the greens and huel together to reduce washing but not tried it yet

It’s an awful taste, i very much doubt many like it but more so put up with it.

Im going to struggle to get through my bag based on yesterday’s first attempt. Wish had just gone for an extra bag of protein now.

I guess thats the same as any greens drink - they dont taste great by default - this is definitely one of the most palatable ones ive tried.

Yes. It’s not something I’m going to repeat

I’m not a big fan of the taste, but it’s my first green style supplement drink but it sounds like none of them taste great, which is to be expected really given the ingredients. I’ve decided to just get it over and done with, so I use 100ml of water in a small glass and mix it with a spoon and then down it in 5 seconds. Adding it to a shake affects the taste of the shake which you’ve then got to chug through for 10 minutes.

Use 200ml or 6oz instead of the recommended 250ml. Tastes far better with more flavour and consistency. 250ml is very watery – personally I think it’s a mistake to recommend that amount for everyone.

Exactly this. Most are really grim. A few not so bad but I reckon this is the best I’ve tasted. As I said earlier though I wouldn’t drink it for pleasure

If Daily Greens had the taste of Daily A-Z, that would be amaaaazing.

True that. I’ve just ordered a box of each of the new flavours as the Cherry ones were lovely.

@hunzas - tried the DG using some fruit cordial mixed with the water (used a local Honey lemon one today) and its a big improvement to the taste, definitely softens it off.

I don’t have any issues with the taste and actually quite like it. It was much better than I expected it to be so I am happy.

and @Phil_C having drunk this for the past 4 or 5 days I think filling to the 6oz line with cold water and then adding one level scoop is fine as Martyn says. I don’t have any issues with the taste and not sure I need to go down the route of adding cordial. It’s not something I generally have hanging around. If i hated the taste I’d give it a go though.

I use tap water and while I used to live in an area with hard water, I now live in an area with really soft water and I find it actually tastes a little creamy.

Hi, I’m interested in huel daily greens,

Can it be taken while on medication?

I’m on 50mg daily of Sertraline (Zoloft) which is a SSRI.

in the product FAQ they mention this:

Suitable for healthy adults. If you have specific medical conditions that alter dietary needs or take medication, please consult with your doctor prior to including Daily Greens.

doing a quick google search, apples and cranberries can interact with Sertraline and both are in the DG product so you definitely need to check with your GP.

Is there any benefit to having Huel Greens if someone is already having this each day:

  • Huel Black - 90g / 400 kcal
  • Huel Complete Protein - 45g / 157.5 kcal

I have maybe one or two portions of fruit & veg during the day, too.

Thanks

Intrigued, but needs clarification on high vitamin D content - see Vitamin D Toxicity & Huel Daily Greens

Hi,

A question for anyone in the know -

On the Daily Greens product page it says " * Children - Huel Daily Greens is not suitable for children under 12 years of age."

Can anyone explain exactly why, please?

The vitamin & mineral Intake requirements of children that age and below are significantly less than adults. Greens is different to the core powder products as it’s a ā€˜one hit’ product and formulated for adult requirements, it would probably far exceed those of children.

The vitamin D content of Daily Greens is high, and exceeds the daily reference intake for vitamin D (how much we need to consume) as indicated on the back of pack. However, the tolerable upper intake limit (the maximum safe dosage) for vitamin D is 100ug. Daily Greens contains less than half this amount. :green_heart:
