If there was an award for the world’s pickiest eater, I’d probably be in the running. For as long as I can remember, vegetables have been my sworn enemies — the kind of food I’d only consider eating if they were drowning in honey. My diet was always heavy on sugar and light on anything green. I’ve also never been the type to spring out of bed for a workout. Motivation for exercise? Nonexistent. Energy? Completely borrowed from sugary snacks and drinks.
Over the years, I dabbled with different protein powders, hoping they’d give me a boost or at least help balance out my awful eating habits. Each time, I found myself abandoning the plan within a week or two. The flavors were off, the texture was worse, and I couldn’t sustain it. I figured that was just how it would always be. But then, a friend recommended I try Huel and Waterdrop tablets. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but four weeks ago, I decided to give it a shot — and I haven’t looked back since.
The first surprise was the taste. Huel isn’t just tolerable; it’s genuinely good. I found myself actually looking forward to it. The flavors are smooth without that chalky aftertaste I’d come to expect from protein powders. Waterdrop tablets, with their fruity bursts, made drinking water feel like less of a chore too. But the real game-changer was the energy. Instead of my usual sugar-fueled highs and inevitable crashes, I started feeling consistently energetic throughout the day. I wasn’t dragging by mid-afternoon or mindlessly reaching for another sweet snack to keep me going.
Seeing the difference after just four weeks has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve attached my progress pictures, taken four weeks apart, and the results speak for themselves. I’m sharing this for anyone who’s been in the same boat — struggling with picky eating, tired of the sugar rollercoaster, and failing to find a sustainable way to feel better. If that sounds like you, I can’t recommend Huel and Waterdrop enough. Trust me, if I can stick to it, anyone can. So if you’re thinking about giving it a go, do it. You might just surprise yourself.
Awesome story. How much weight (fat) have you lost in 4 weeks?
I’m a bit of a nightmare eater too, with the same apathy towards greens and veg, although I do manage an apple a day. I’d be lost without Huel products which have been about 50% of my calories for ~9 years now.
So originally I got the caramel bandit and had that for lunch everyday I then got the caramel macchiato and started having that for breakfast, I exercise on average for around 30 minutes a day and that seems to be enough.
I was wondering whether perhaps our esteemed new member and single-time poster might be copy-pasting his story across a wide number of support forums for fitness food products, search-replacing with that forum’s product - eg Huel - and just happening to also be promoting the wonders of these W*terdrops tablets…
For the first 3 weeks I was having just 2 scoops for lunch but the last week and a half I’ve had 2 scoops for breakfast with instant coffee mixed in and 2 scoops for lunch then a sensible dinner and 2 snacks in between
If I am honest I don’t see much of a difference on the pictures, but I think it is more healthy. So congrats if you more healthy and happy than before.
