Really good to hear that not all new flavours will be Ā£2 more. Thanks for that reassurance Tim.

Just tried cookies and cream and I loved it. Iā€™ve been using strawberries and cream black solely since it launched. The reason is I like the macros in black edition and this flavour (to me) is by far the nicest and one I look forward to having. I was hoping for another flavour to come along that I liked as much and Iā€™m pleased to say it just has!

150ml almond milk
200ml water
Left overnight in the fridge to thicken up nicely and for me itā€™s an absolute winner.

Pleased to now have two flavours I enjoy so much to mix it up a bit. Well done again team Huel.

Iā€™ve not actually drunk it yet but the powder smells like it should and I even tasted a bit of the dry powder which does actually taste like a crumbled Oreo biscuit. Itā€™s the only Huel powder that I actually think I could eat dry and appreciate the taste. Not that anyone would actually enjoy eating dry powder of course.

I am just reading Shaun Ryderā€™s book ā€œhow to be a rock starā€. It is hilarious, and unsurprisingly much of it is about ā€œpowderā€.

Black Edition ā€œCold Brew Coffeeā€ would have been much better.

And yes, Iā€™ll keep asking for it until it is available.

Right, just had my first cookies and cream Huel. Meant to have it yesterday but ended up doing something else so today is the day. I actually made it with 100% C&C rather than 50/50 with UU and I think it would have been a bit under flavoured if I had done that.

It definitely has a chocolatey taste to it more so than cream as @cuba said, but it does also taste biscuity, which is a good thing rather than a bad thing. First impression is I like it. More so than I was expecting to be honest. Probably top 3 of the Huel black powder. I will try it with 50/50 mix with UU in due course.

Hear me out, rum nā€™ raisin flavoured v3.0
You implied you need stronger flavours due to the oats, and it solves the raisin flavouring problemā€¦ just donā€™t add actual rum (unless itā€™s my order)!

Right I did try it 50/50 with UU and itā€™s definitely lacking a bit of a punch like that. I will have it on its own.

2 weeks on 3.0 and I just received my Huel Black Cookies and Creme and Salted Caramel bags yesterday and both are so delicious, I may never eat ā€œreal foodā€ again, lol. I created this account JUST to say how much i dig these flavors.

Mah man! Welcome to the forum! Some excellent first choices there!

Ah this is awesome news!

Sounds like weā€™re going from strength to strength with our new flavours launched!

Itā€™s been so long since Iā€™ve had rum and raisin flavour ice cream, need to have another go! For anyone not from the UK, do you have Rum and Raisin ice cream?

In South America and in Spain is an option you have, not a favourite but is there, in my childhood I remember asking for it ALWAYS and tell my friends Hey you guys, Iā€™m drinking rum!.

Is a nice flavour but perhaps not for everyoneā€¦ For sure Iā€™d give a try. Waiting to be able to order cookies and cream but now Iā€™m fully stocked.

It exists in Sweden but I wouldnā€™t call it a top selling flavor here. :slightly_smiling_face:

I hope so! Itā€™s a 17th century Sicilian recipe called MĆ”laga gelato ā€“ we brits canā€™t take credit for that one  . It was originally made with masala wine not rum, but switched to rum once it became more widely imported from the Caribbean. HƤagen-Dazs usually get the credit for popularising it though in the 80ā€™s.

So Iā€™ve had a couple of meals with the new Cookies & Cream now, my comments are:

It tastes exactly like youā€™ve taken a packet of bourbon biscuits and blended them up in a mixer and added water. Although I am a person who could easily finish off a packet of bourbon biscuits in one sitting without blinking an eye, I found it a little on the strong / rich side for my tastes. For the second meal I did one cup of Cookies & Cream and one cup of Salted Caramel - this reduced the intensity of the taste a little bit but the Cookies & Cream was still by far the dominant flavour.

My only other comment, and really question to Huel is that the Cookies & Cream seems so much less bitty / much more smooth than any of the other flavours Iā€™ve tried (Banana, Strawberrys & Cream, Vanilla). Is this intentional / supposed to be like this? Itā€™s such an extreme difference I almost half think my bag may not be mixed properly.

If it is supposed to be like that then - for anyone who prefers RTD due to itā€™s smoothness - this is going to be right up your street!

(note: I make it up, put it in the fridge for a few hours before I drink my Huel - Iā€™m not sure how smooth it would be just after mixing).

Iā€™ve found this really varies by batchā€¦ for example Iā€™ve had some bags of black banana be really smooth, and others extremely gritty/bitty to the point of not being enjoyable. Same with the strawberries & cream. I think itā€™s to do with how ground the flaxseeds are, but I wish they were more consistent.

Not overly keen. Reminds me of a praline chocolate flavour protein shake I used to have.

Smells awesome but think for me itā€™s lacking that cream/vanilla part that makes the Oreo an Oreo and not just a chocolate biscuit with chocolate filling.

Itā€™s definitely more on the chocolate side I agree. Luckily not as sweet as Oreos but lacking the creaminess.

Yes I get that now you mention it. Nevertheless I like it; I donā€™t love it.

no Iā€™m thinking to go to M&S tomorrow to buy a packet of bourbons to blend. Because that sounds like it should be a thing.
