I feel like we are conditioned to feel like our bodies should lose weight every week but in reality, it just doesn’t work like that. It’s so important to keep the social aspect of food and eating if it’s important to you - it definitely is for me - and not miss out on everything for the sake of weight loss.

It’s still super early days but I definitely feel incredibly positive about it. Maybe Huel is resetting my body like yours did when you were strict for a period of time. I definitely feel like I am a lot more in control of my eating, which is important to stop me eating insanely large quantities of food and then feeling sick coupled with self-loathing until I eat more food again and repeat the cycle. I know I need to change my relationship with food and I think Huel is really helping

Up 0.75lb this week. I’m not fazed by this - I always gain in week three and often stall for a while at this stage. I’m guessing it has something to do with water weight lost in the first fortnight. I’m still enjoying Huel and counting calories.
It’s a small gain and you’re probably right, it’ll be something to do with water or TOM or something else along those lines. Good that you’re keeping a positive mindset.
I’ve been fluctuating since my pizza night. Was back down to 12st 12.2lb yesterday and now back up to 12st 12.8lb today but I’m viewing the general trend and trying not to get bogged down in the daily readings. I also haven’t pooped in two days, so I’m guessing that’s at least a pound
I tried my first flavour boosts tonight. Not sure if it’s because I am trying them with the U/U but I was pretty unimpressed. In a 100g shake, I thought I’d better use two and went for one peanut butter and one chocolate. Smelt pretty good but couldn’t taste any chocolate AT ALL and only the faintest hint of peanuts, and it was that dusty peanut powder taste rather than peanut butter. I think tomorrow I’ll try two sachets of the same flavour and see if that is better (I ordered 5 sample boxes so I could have 2 per shake as my shakes are 100g and that’s probably more than two scoops).
I think they’re designed to taste best in Vanilla, but I agree about those two - I could barely taste choc or PB. I was quite surprised by the ones I ended up liking best.
Oh right, so one flavour boost should really be enough! I will give them another go tonight. Might also blend them in, last night I just handballed it in the shaker.
Went with apple cinnamon as I figured, you’re my twin in everything else, must like the same flavours. Stuffed two in rather than one. Couldn’t be bothered to blend so just shook it up. It was better than the peanut butter chocolate nothing, but still pretty weak tbh. Just couldn’t really taste much! Do you blend your boosts in?
Side happy note though, weighed in this morning at 12st 11.7lb, meaning I’m half a stone down since my starting point on 20th June
Maybe. I think I’m going to get some flavoured powders when we have ploughed through all our U/U so I guess I can try some then and see if it is different.

Loss of one pound this week, which is my smallest loss so far but I have to remind myself that half a stone in my first month is a steady and sustainable loss, and that consistency is key.
You’re doing really well! Life got in the way a bit this week due to social engagements and not being able to count calories. I’m back on it now but I’m not expecting to see a loss in time for Weds.
That is so awesome. Well done! I know what you meant about the scales. I mean mine tells me it’s a smart scale but if it’s so smart why does it always add a bit on my weekly tracker!?
That’s why I usually weigh every day, means you can keep an eye on the general trend. Congrats on seeing the 12s a few times!
Having said that, I haven’t weighed in over a week as have had loads on and eating loads of food! Had our first wedding anniversary on Monday so the whole week has been filled with delicious food and drink!
I’m also off 100% Huel for now. My skin was getting bad and I think I just need fruits and veggies. Having Huel for breakfast and lunch in the week, a regular dinner and then weekends… Well, let’s just see what happens with them! I’ll weigh in at some point and update.
