Salty flavour

Nice joke… Actually, I don’t think it helps hahahaha
I don’t want to offend vegan people, but if Huel made a flavoured powder or a flavour boost like… for exemple… chicken or bacon lol I’d try it.

Salty is not the word you wanted to use
C’est une mauvais traduction du français

What you ment is savoury

You have also Vitaline (both french), but with less options. I would also say that their savoury flavour is not for everybody, it is very soup like.

I think Kuik has other savoury flavours boosts, too.

I’m not french… Anyway I’m not looking for other brands. I just wanted to say that I’ve been using huel since a month and the only thing sometimes I miss is a nice pasta dish or a juicy hamburger. I stop huel once a week but it’s not enough hahahaha

Where are you from?

OK. Here are some options.

Easiest- Huel Soups.
General idea is to make a soup and add Huel to it. Soups are usually very nutritious but low in calories, so the idea is to use Huel to add up the extra calories and nutritents.

Examples:

  1. Spicy Tomato & Beetroot Soup – by Huel
  2. Leek and Potato soup – by Huel
  3. Mullygatawny Soup Hack –by Huel
  4. Carrot and Ginger Soup –by Huel

Even dumber:

  • Already made soup of your choice (carrot&coriander, lentil soup, tomato soup).
  • 100g of U&U Huel.

Method :

  1. Warm the soup to medium temperature.
  2. Add Huel and stirr well (perhaps you will have to use a hand blender for better mixing).

Curries- Always a British favourite:

Carrot Curry Huel

Ingredients :

  • 100g of Huel U&U.
  • 200 ml fresh carrot juice (or boil carrots with water and blend them).
  • 2-3 tbs of sweet curry.
  • 300 ml water.

Method : Add all together and shake. You can use a hand blender to make it bubbly. You can have it warm or cold.

Red Lentil Falafels – by Huel

Use Huel for pancakes and similar:

Simple Huel Pancakes

I choose Huel because I work the entire day and I don’t have neither the time nor a kitchen to do all that. My question was if someone else would like a “SAVOURY” flavour like me. Nothing else.

No, I wouldn’t want a flavour as salty as you.

I had a KFC tonight if that counts, that was salty…

It counts if you blended it up with some huel…

As of April I work close to the KFC and there is the “Bucket Tuesday” which is some
hotwings and crispy strips, a large chicken popcorn, 2 medium fries and 2 medium drinks.
On Tuesday, €10,- instead of €20,- .
Still haven’t went, might do so soon enough :joy:
It’s a dangerous thing, I guess.

Ha-ha-ha-ha. You’re not helping.

I actually totally agree with you on this Polemax and suggested something similar a while ago via LinkedIn I recall. In short, Huel needs to do a few savoury versions like Peanut Butter, Salt & Vinegar and maybe a Chilli version. The issue for me is using Huel as a convenience food for dinner as sweet meals don’t cut it for me at this time of day as I always have a salty craving in the evening.

seems a lot of folks using the peanut butter flavour boost think it isn’t strong enough so there’s always the option of adding PB2 to your shake - I really like that stuff in the mix. they also recently tried a chilli version on their instagram feed around the office - I think only Julian liked it

now if they were to team up with Marmite…

Today I tried Paprika (specifically Pimentón de la Vera from Spain, which is different and much better)

And mixed with UU 3.0 was amazing. The best salty flavour I have tried.

I’m imagining that with some tomato juice in there too…

For me it has become a must. And if you investigate about the Pimentón de la vera it has enormous benefits

Sorry I don’t know much about spices such as paprika etc. How is Spanish paprika different and better to regular paprika?

Can confirm, i lived in spain a few years ago, this paprika is amazing!

I never knew the name, just knew the box, but thanks for this! Now i can finally buy some of the spice that made me fall in love with paprika! Mucho Gracias!
